Our Holiday Apartments

The Sonnhof is a traditional farmhouse nestled on the Sonnberg, where our family has welcomed guests with genuine, heartfelt hospitality for three generations. We love sharing the beauty of our Pongau home with visitors—and over the years, many of our guests have become true lifelong friends. 

Our holiday apartments feature cosy bedrooms, bathrooms, fully equipped kitchens, and comfortable living areas with direct access to a balcony and terrace. The Sonnhof is the perfect retreat for all ages to arrive, unwind, and feel right at home surrounded by nature.

Whether travelling as a couple, a family, or a group of friends: we can comfortably accommodate up to 10 guests with the ideal apartment layout, ensuring everyone can enjoy the glorious Pongau landscape to the fullest—both in summer and winter.

The Spacious One. Authentic farmhouse charm with wonderfully generous space. The heart of the flat is the large living area—perfect for cooking together, relaxing in good company, and unwinding after a day out in the snow. Step straight from the lounge onto the sunny terrace. A cosy bedroom, a shower, and a separate WC complete the perfect holiday experience for 2–4 guests.

The Cosy One. Pure comfort with plenty of space for family and friends, for 4–6 guests. After an eventful day out in the snow, the warm open-plan kitchen and living area is the perfect spot for cooking, sharing meals, and relaxing together. The comfortable sofa can also be turned into an extra sofa bed in no time. Two separate bedrooms—each with its own in-room washbasin—along with two full bathrooms ensure a stress-free start to every morning. Step straight from the living area onto the sunny balcony.

The Combined One. Both Sonnhof flats entirely to yourselves. Here, both apartments join together to create the ideal retreat for large families, groups of friends, or a ski holiday with all your loved ones. After a long day out in the winter landscape, the spacious living area offers wonderfully ample room for cooking together, playing cards, and unwinding. With 3 separate bedrooms (plus an additional sofa bed), 3 bathrooms, and 2 fully equipped kitchens, the combined flat comfortably accommodates up to 10 guests.

Price per night. Prices exclude local tourist tax (€1 per person and day). For first-time guests, a 30% deposit is required as a binding booking confirmation.

Cancellation Policy

As a small family-run business, we rely on reliable planning. We therefore ask for your understanding regarding our cancellation policy.

The following cancellation conditions apply in accordance with the Austrian Hotel Contract Conditions:

• For first-time bookers, a deposit of 30% of the total price is required
• Free cancellation is possible up to 3 months prior to arrival
• 3 months to 1 month prior to arrival: 40% of the total price as a cancellation fee
• 1 month to 1 week prior to arrival: 70% of the total price as a cancellation fee
• Within the last week prior to arrival: 90% of the total price as a cancellation fee
• In case of early departure, 100% of the total price will be charged
